NTFP Rubber Latex
Lalan Rubbers Limited has a total of 5373.78 ha of Rubber Latex of which 3003 ha in revenue. Out of this an annual replanting extent of 4.5% of the total extent is being undertaken.
The replanting cycle of Rubber is 30 years. Rubber tapping is a commercial operation on sustainable yield basis and a set standard of exploitation is in force. A normal life span including the period and intensity of exploitation is given in the FMP in detail.

By analyzing the 44 years data it is obvious that growth of Eucalyptus camaldulensis & Eucalyptus robusta are significantly higher than that of E grandis, E torellian, E citriodora & E microcorys.
Further E camaldulensis tolerates the climatic factors and soil factors of estates in Lalan Rubbers (Pvt) Ltd.
